Planks Origins
There is an old rusty house on the Planks Island hidden deep down in the Metaverse. The legend has it that no one has ever managed to squirm in the house. According to rumours, it is full of mysterious boxes packed with assets amassed from a variety of successful NFT projects.
Its citizens, The Planks, are rumoured to be quirky cartoonish characters seemingly obsessed with collecting NFTs and using their value to enhance the quality of life on their Island.
While the size of the Planks Island remains unknown, the size of its population is not a mystery. The Island is a home to exactly 10,000 Planks who all live in chaotic harmony which drives their incredibly satirical lifestyle that revolves around ape-ing into the hottest projects ever.
The Planks are a wild bunch, a unique cartoon collective comprised of multiple traits. Each Plank’s identity is based on one of the four main types of wood used for their creation (oak, natural, walnut, mahogany), and 151 random traits (whether expressional or aesthetic).
Interestingly enough, certain traits of the Planks define their interest in different art styles and projects as well. You’ll find out that every individual Plank has a unique taste for art and is involved in specific projects.
The Planks way of life is all about community empowerment, which is why their Island resort is open only to the most devoted woodwork and digital art admirers. That being said, if you ever get lucky enough to befriend and hold a Plank, rest assured that it will become much more than a mere fun asset.
